PCA Nursing Assistant

Qualifications & Experience Requirement:

-Must possess good customer service skills
-Must be a team player
-Police certificate of good character

– At least 5 CXC passes and certification/ qualifications in your field
-Must be registered with your specific board (BASED ON JOB)
3+ years’ experience in a similar position
-Must be able to work shift

Qualification & Experience Requirement

-Medical Laboratory Assistant certification will be considered.
-A minimum of six (6) months experience in a Laboratory setting.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
 
Expertise in General and Midwifery Nursing practices
– Familiarity with hospital protocols and obstetric medications
– Proficiency in fetal monitoring and emergency techniques
– Strong leadership, mentoring, and critical thinking abilities
– Empathy, patience, and physical/mental resilience
 
Qualifications:
 
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Certificate in Basic General Nursing
– Post-basic certification in Midwifery
– Must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing Council of Trinidad and Tobago
– Minimum of three (3) years experience as an active practicing Midwife
